Menopause: From taboo to empowerment
is a visual argument about the societal
perceptions of menopause

This visual argument delves into the question, "How can advertising challenge and reshape societal perceptions of menopause?" My design outcome was shaped by an exploration of themes related to culture, gendered stereotypes, intersectionality, power, and authenticity. Through the use of abstracted shapes, colour, and animation, the design engages with the discourse on menopause, delving into taboos and misconceptions and how they have affected the experience of women, transgender, and non-binary individuals going through menopause. The progression throughout the site symbolises hope, transitioning from an initially dark design to a brighter orange, signifying the positive change that is coming.
